I so appreciate these podcasts as reminders to established congregations regarding the essence of their role and functions. I think these reminders help prevent us from becoming religious spectators by letting a select few in the church (church leaders, pastors, etc) do what all of us in the congregation should be active in. The podcasts function as a clarion of a living Gospel in our congregations and not of law – things we must do.
I also appreciate the inclusion of a transcript of podcast #8 with Pastor Haugen. It has helped me to read and think about the discussion and apply it to situations within the congregation that can quickly devolve into law. I am wondering if other transcripts are available for podcasts 7 – 10?
Thank you guys for the great work you are doing. It is very evident you have (are) putting much prayer, thinking, and work into this endeavor.
Blessings
